What is Domain Name Transfer?

A domain name transfer is the step of changing the domain name registrar from the company that keeps your domain registration to a new registrar. By following these steps you can move ahead, enter the domain name (s) which you want to transfer, enter the payment information and click on checkout, authorize and accept the transfer. Is there any limitation on transferring domains?

You can transfer the domain at any time. However, ICANN doesn’t allow domain transfer within 60 days of registration or prior transfer as per ICANN policy.

What If I am transferring a domain?

When you decide to transfer a domain to hostripples, then only the domain moves to hostripples. The rest of the service remains with your current provider unless; you decide to move it to hostripples.

Note :

If you want to transfer your domain from your current web hosting provider then you’ve to pay a registration fees to us which is mandatory and from that onwards your domain will start operating on Hostripples server. Moreover, transferring domain will add one year to its actual domain expiry date. A domain transfer fee includes renewal of one year with your existing domain validity period. If your domain expiry date is 5th jan 2023 which was hosted with old web hosting provider and on 5th Dec 2022 you place a request of domain transfer with hostripples. Once transfer process is completed with the payment of registration fee, then your new domain expiry date will be 5th Jan 2024.
